I grew up in a household where magazines and catalogues were aplenty. There were always new ones to flip through, and once my mom was done, I was given free rein to cut them up, sample perfumes, and make as many mood boards and scrapbooks as a girl could dream. 

And I did. I can’t even count the number of vision boards I had stuffed into my desk drawers. 

But one day those catalogues stopped coming. Which was fine, because by that time, I had graduated to becoming Pinterest and Tumblr-obsessed.
