Fuwafuwa Beer Wraps Its Can in Fluff

Published

Fuwafuwa Beer, designed by students Zhang Licheng, Jin Xiaoyi, Licheng Zhang, flips the usual beer packaging script with a furry, tactile sleeve that looks more like a plush toy than your typical beer can.

The typeface is playful yet clean, pairing rounded edges with simple black-on-white printing that keeps the focus on the texture. A small illustrated bear anchors the identity, connecting the name โ€œfuwafuwaโ€ (Japanese for โ€œfluffyโ€) to the product. This is where the fun is in student projects, imagining the impossible.
