Trader Joe’s is known for its eccentricity and humor, which make it stand out from other supermarkets. By carrying almost exclusively private-label products, it can apply its quirky branding on all touchpoints, including packaging.
In addition to new foods, Trader Joe’s customers also go into stores excited to look for potted plants and flowers. Now, the brand has combined its memorable packaging with its plant offerings, with pots inspired by some of its most popular canned products.
The Trader Joe’s Mini Can Foliage collection features low-maintenance tropical plants in one of four pots modeled after fan favorite foods. Designs include the discontinued green jackfruit, fall favorite pumpkin puree, tomato paste, and whole kernel corn.
