Pentagram Announces New Industrial Designer Partner, Piotr Woronkowicz

“Pentagram Partner” is one of the most coveted and respected titles in the design world. For decades, Pentagram has set the gold standard for design studios, and its cast of Partners has served as the backbone of the company’s masterful branding and design work. On April 2, Pentagram New York welcomed its newest member into its ranks, marking its first industrial designer partner, Piotr Woronkowicz.

Woronkowicz has been in and around the Pentagram family for years, working closely with mentor and longstanding Pentagram royalty Paula Scher. He’s also collaborated with other members of the team as well, most notably working on the packaging designs for Dr. Jart+, Mastercard, and Google while running his own design studio, Piotrworks. Woronkowicz takes a holistic approach to his work as an industrial designer, reexamining established forms to make products more sustainable and functional. A genuine creative soul, he’s eager to work across disciplines, from product and 3D design to interiors, and he has even opened his own skateboard shop, Cut Teeth, in upstate New York.

We recently sat down with Woronkowicz to discuss this next chapter in his career as he steps into the spotlight at Pentagram.
