So it’s little surprise the San Francisco studio snagged our August 2025 Pack of the Month honors with Dilmah Watte Single Garden Ceylon Teas. Not only did the redesigned line of teas take inspiration from Harrods’ tea tins, but they also looked to whisky labels as well, creating an elevated piece of packaging that you’ll surely find tucked away on a countertop for years to come as it takes on a second life as a home for random bits and bobbles (or even some downmarket Lipton bags). 

We spoke with Pavement founder Michael Hester about revamping Dilmah’s premium tea line and embracing the pivot.
